The contest is for members of the ISQCCBE. This contest is open to Miss, Mr. or Mx. Contestants must arrive at the venue one hour prior to showtime. Music can be on a flash drive or on a mobile device (i.e. phone) Contestants are allowed one support person in the dressing room for assistance with preparation.
Each contestant will be asked to choose a designated charity for their performances. Coordinator will work out details with contestants and charities.
Winner will be able to choose between a crown or a medallion.
Contestants will be judges in three (4) categories:
Presentation will be worth 10 points and must include the theme of the contest. Theme to be announced prior to the pageant. Presentation will be a max of 3 minutes including music and introduction.
Formal Wear will be worth 40 points and is at the discretion of the contestants. DJ will provide music for all contestants in this category.
Q&A will be worth 10 points. Questions will be provided by judges prior to contest.
Talent is worth 40 points and is at the discretion of the contestant. The time limit is seven (7) minutes with 2 minutes for set-up and 2 minutes for teardown.
Fee: You must be a member of the ISQCCBE. Individual membership is $15.00
- • This pageant is in no way affiliated with any other pageant system.
- • The winner is not allowed to use this title for the purpose of gaining entry into
another pageant. - • The title and all regalia for the winner of Miss/Mr./Mx Queen City is to be used solely to raise money for the ISQCCBE.
- • If for any reason the winner of Miss Q/Mr./Mx Queen City cannot fulfill the responsibilities, the title will go to the runner-up.
- • The winner(s) will be required ton participate in 2 events within 6 months of winning contest. Reigning Monarchs will work with the winner to secure events.
- • The winner is required to perform at the annual contest (stepdown)
- • The winner may be asked to perform at Coronation.
