The contest is for members of the ISQCCBE who have won a previous pageant during the current reign. If you are not a winner of a previous pageant and would like to participate in the Queen City Pageant there will be a $25.00 fee.
This contest is open to Miss, Mr. or Mx.
Contestants must arrive at the venue one hour prior to showtime. Music can be on a flash drive or on a mobile device (i.e. phone) Contestants are allowed one support person in the dressing room for assistance with preparation.
Winner will be able to choose between a crown or a medallion.
Contestants will be judged in four (4) categories:
Presentation will be worth 10 points and must include the theme of the contest. Theme to be announced prior to the pageant.
Formal Wear will be worth 40 points and is at the discretion of the contestants.
Q&A will be worth 10 points and will be taken from the ISQCCBE history. We will provide the history from our founding history.
Talent is worth 40 points and is at the discretion of the contestant. The time limit is seven (7) minutes with five (5) additional minutes for set up and tear down.
Fee: You must be a member of the ISQCCBE. Individual membership is $15.00
- • This pageant is in no way affiliated with any other pageant system.
- • The winner is not allowed to use this title for the purpose of gaining entry into
another pageant. - • The title and all regalia for the winner of Miss/Mr./Mx Queen City is to be used solely to raise money for the ISQCCBE.
- • If for any reason the winner of Miss Q/Mr./Mx Queen City cannot fulfill the responsibilities, the title will go to the runner-up.
- • The winner(s) will be required to raise $500.00 (each) by the end of their reign Winner will work with the Reigning Monarchs and/or pageant coordinator to set events. Events must be billed as “Queen City Pageant presents…”
- • The winner is required to perform at the annual contest (stepdown)
- • The winner may be asked to perform at Coronation in October.
