Reign XXIX
2020-2021

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Reign XXIX was overseen by the College of Monarchs.

Known as the Reign of the College, Reign 29 was broken into individual months that were managed by members of the college and other active members under the guidance of the College Representative, Empress 8 Miss Tate.
Due to ongoing challenges presented by the Corona Virus, fundraising activites followed a blended approach featuring both in-person and virtual events.
Contrary to the guidance provided by medical experts, the Center for Disease Control, and the greater science community at large, millions of Americans refused to get vaccinated as the world struggled to bring an end to pandemic.
While this was frustrating to competent and responsible people everywhere, those who were vaccinated and are followed healthy best practices moved forward with fundraising and state events - both locally and across the country. This included the return of most of our court pageants as well as ISQCCBE representation at coronations in Salt Lake City (Utah), Boise (Idaho), Lexington (Kentucky), Indianapolis (Indiana), and Washington, DC.
As a college and board, the ISQCCBE made the decision to host in-person voting again as well as a full coronation - both at the Westin Hotel in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.
Following voting on October October 25, 2021 at the ICP Ball, Trayla Parks and Casey Pond-Tate were elected as the newest monarchs in the realm and were crowned on Saturday, October 16 during the annual Queen City Gala as Emperor and Empress XXX.
