Geoff and Gypsy continued their support for AIDS Volunteers of Northern Kentucky, Caracole and YWCA Breast Cancer Awareness. The Cincinnati Court was saddened and deeply grieved by the death of Emperor XI Geoff Grady during the reign. Emperor IX Will Fugett assumed the position f Regent Emperor XI.
During August 2002, there was one candidate for empress, Ginger Snap, and one candidate for emperor, Sam Clemons. Coronation XII was help on September 7, 2002, titled "Carnival—A Night at a Venetian Masquerade Ball." Gypsy and Will stepped down and were succeeded by Sam Clemons and Ginger Snap.
