During their reign, they were proud to be on the BOD that passed the organization’s first comprehensive Sexual Harassment policy, taking a firm stance against gender-based violence and wanting to keep the members of our organization safe. The Monarchs also decided that, for the Court to be an inclusive organization and embrace our non-binary friends and siblings, they reworked all our pageants with the help of Brooklyn Steele-Tate, the pageant coordinator, started calling them contests to be more non-binary, and dropped all binary qualifications (except for Miss Drag You Out). They additionally retired Entertainer of the Year and replaced it with Top Dollar. The Monarchs also got the Cincinnati Black Pride non-profit approved, and Lala Snap-Clemons started doing monthly shows featuring exclusively POC individuals. Giving a voice and highlighting minorities as well as ensuring our organization was a safe and inclusive space was an important goal that they wanted to achieve this year.
The XXX Reign was represented well and traveled to a whopping 17 Coronations. These include Chicago,
Florida, Minnesota, San Francisco, New York City, Corpus Christi, Buffalo, Salt Lake City, Kentucky, London, Indianapolis, Toronto (our first visit to our Mother Court in 10 years since the Reformation), Connecticut, Denver, San Diego, the Waterfall Empire (Hamilton), and Nebraska.

The reign had several successful online fundraisers throughout the year, including the annual #FeedCasey vs #BlingTate, the annual Sock Drive, several Cooking with Casey Facebook live events, along with others. The most successful online fundraiser was an accidental fundraiser involving the entire ICS, which started as a meme war on Facebook between Anita Dushay and Casey Pond. It grew into the Casey’s Coalition of Justice vs The Easy Bake Coven competition fundraiser, which raised $2,100 for the Matthew Shepard Foundation, a beloved ICS non-profit.
Not only did the Court participate in the annual Cincinnati Pride Parade, but Empress Miss Tate headed the effort to collect a few volunteers to help sell at a beer tent at the Pride Festival. With the volunteers’ efforts, we were able to raise $2,000 from tips and a donation from Cincinnati Pride.
