Maxie and Ed chose GLSEN, PFLAG, Caracole House, AVNKK, YWCA Breast Cancer Fund and Planned Parenthood HIV Prevention Group as their designated charities. There were also event for Stop AIDS, Northside Housing Project and Miami Colors.
During the reign, Maxie resigned as Empress and was succeeded by her Heir Apparent, Empress XII Ginger Snap.
In June 2012, the ISQCCBE met with the International Court Counsel and was placed no suspension. During the suspension, no titles would be used or recognized throughout the International Court System thus the creation of Fundraiser Chair to distinguish the leaders of our fundraising efforts. During this time, a reinstatement committee was formed to reorganize the workings of the organization. Since this is a fundraising organization, we did not stop what we were good at doing and continued to raise money for our local charities and created some new events. The new events, Miss Drag U Out and Mr. Mister made our organization more diversified than ever before. In January 2013, a group of 9 traveled t oSan Diego to sit before the Queen Mother and her Heir Apparent. It was recommended and passed that Cincinnati be given our full privileges back as an Empire with a one year probation. Queen Mother Nicole the Great commended us on our hard work and said we took the suspension very seriously ad was did the work that needed to be done.
August 19, 2013, the ICS suffered the loss of our founder, Jose Sarria, thus beginning a year of mourning.
Reign XXI was represented at 11 Coronations: Iowa, Buffalo, New York, Corpus Christi, St. Louis, Lexington, Connecticut, Las Vegas, Wasington DC, San Diego and Toronto.
On August 24, 2013, the Cincinnati Court suffered the loss of their ICP Dixie Crystals.
During the month of April, there was one candidate for Emperor, Keith Roberts and one candidate for Empress, Freeda Bangkok. They were elected to be the next monarchs on April 28, 2013
On August 23, 2013, the ISQCCBE made history in Cincinnati when we hit the $1,000,000 mark in money raised over the course of our 22 years, mostly one dollar at a time. This was a historic event and was proudly displayed throughout our weekly shows and our Coronation weekend.
Reign XXI was the longest reign to date in the history of our Court Chapter, 25 months. On October 5, 2013, with the Queen Mother Nicole the Great in attendance, Ed and Ginger stepped down during Coronation XXII "Vegas Baby, The Early Years. What Happens Here Stays Here" and were succeeded by Keith and Freeda.
